Opened in May 2009, Eyestar Optical Square One is the first Ontario location to have an on-site Optometrist. In the Mississauga area, luxury designer eyewear can be found at this location. There are professional in-store Contact lens fitters, Opticians and a newly added Optometrist to aid customers with their vision healthcare needs. Dr. Francis Liu earned his Bachelor of Science degree with distinction at the University of Toronto. He then completed a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Physics at the Ontario Cancer Institute under an Ontario Graduate Scholarship.
In 2015, he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry degree from State University of New York College of Optometry in New York, NY and is board certified in Ontario.
